[He needs... somewhere high tonight. And that's how Rean finds himself on the rooftops, not always landing gracefully as he leaps from one to the other. One particularly rose-bound house causes him to pause for a second, and sneeze noisily, but then he's quick to jump onto another roof and another, until he spies the top of the Bright Wall.

He just needs to get away from everything, and so he wastes no time hopping his way from stair to outcropping to ladder to outcropping to-- you get the idea, until he's clambered all the way up to the top of the wall with his talons and his gumption, and then he's free. It's high, incredibly high, and the view is beautiful at night with the full moon blanketing everything. He breathes in, lets the wind sift through his feathers and tug at his jacket, and it feels like fingers through the feathery fluff of his hair.
