King Serwyl da Uathmar sought to rule the continent from Aefenglom three centuries ago, and the alphabet changed around that time. The Coven used to be his castle and he wasn’t seen in good light here. The oldest book The Coven has is seven hundred years old. I can’t say for a fact that these are connected, but there’s a lot of history to go through anyway. Something changed.
