eren predominantly "smells" things the same way some lizards and snakes do: by catching chemical particles in the air with their tongues and bringing them to their jacobson’s organ at the roof of the mouth. since smell and taste work hand in hand here, and this is more a compulsive habit that can’t quite be controlled: what does your character taste/smell like?

kindly fill this form out for eren’s tongue library and my own guilty pleasure when it comes to descriptions, and I’ll remember them for our threads! also keep in mind that fae have a slight fizz to their compounds for eren (like soda) and will attract him more than other monsters!

wHAt DO tHeY TaStE lIkE: She'll taste a lot like plants as well as oil (cooking and weapon based). There's also something in there that is just very homey. It's hard to tell what it is exactly though. And a lot of the time? She definitely tastes of a terrible mixture of anxiety and/or fear.
