i was taking a kid home halfway there the fog came. it wasn’t a monster, or some stranger. it was me, as a kid. titan hurt him badly but got hurt too. he’s ok now. i had to strangle him, and only because the other kid with me hit him from behind.
and while i took titan to a healer after, i remembered what that was i can’t even be mad at it just at myself for making the wrong call
don’t be. i learned a lot from it. we’re both fine. i didn’t leave until i was sure he was through his front door. he’s a strong kid. there was a second monster after that and he didn’t stop once.
it’s easier than that. it only depends on you. the worst thing you could do is expect things to go back to normal, and that nothing else like that will ever happen again. if you’re aware that that’s just rosy dreaming, you’ll be prepared. being ready for something just as bad or even worse puts you at an advantage already.
Oh... I see. That just sounds really sad...but I mean, you have a point. I guess just believing that things will be normal again is just wishful thinking....and it's pretty naive to think that way, too.
