That's not something you can dictate so easily. I'm glad you dressed for the occasion, though.

We're all right. The directions took us underground. I can tell this is a little difficult for Clover, but she's working hard.

I'm sure they're very warm. [It just doesn't stop her concern.]

Yes, I think we're all waiting for the other shoe to drop.

And there are other people to think about down here, too.

[She won't air Clover's dirty laundry with her ex-boyfriend or his new sweetheart. Jasmine keeps her response vague and angled to the mission instead.]

You know what it's like to work with someone you last parted with on less than pleasant terms.

This place is very involved in its industry. There's a giant forge that's been disassembled, and you'd think some of the workers here had lost their livelihoods completely. In a way, I guess they have.

For her. I don't usually have that problem.

That's right. It feels a little contrived, doesn't it? But I wouldn't turn them down if they're in need.

She'd probably be happy to hear from you.

[Of course, Jasmine doesn't know that Eren plans to narc on her.]

Energy? No. Not that I can say. We only traveled to one area in the city so far, and I haven't noticed anything beyond flames burning too hotly to be totally natural.

Do you mind explaining what you mean?

I can't say I've encountered anything like that.

Even if I did, I'm not sure I'd be able to sense it. Magic, or some supernatural force, isn't something I'd have any experience with, really. Do be careful; something like that shouldn't be taken lightly.

However.

There are some creatures blocking the forge we need to reassemble. I wonder if they had anything to with its destruction.
