Wait. No! Sandy! Get back here! [A man's voice calls out and there's a sound of footsteps thumping and a jingling somewhere in the hallway near Eren's apartment door. Listen closely enough and one might here the sound of a dog panting.]
[ itās pretty easy for other apartment dogs on this floor to come running to erenās doorā heās got a dog in there himself, a rather large dog from the sound of things, and just when eren was going to take him out for a walk, too; titan, his german shepherd, snarls under the door and sticks his snout there as much as he can to huff at the intruder near his homeā his home!
orders are absolute though, so when eren says something in german, the unfriendly sounds stop enough for eren to crack the door open and . . . aw hey thatās cute. swinging the rest open, eren smiles down at the young pup while titan stands still, ears erect and tail up in a short wag, watching what the youngster does. at least heās got new friends to smell! ]

[ just to remind his dog to behave as they puppy does puppy things. is it just him or does sandy want to spring into his apartment . . . ]
[The puppy seems friendly and extremely curious. Definitely ready to let herself into a stranger's apartment so she can hang out and smell some new smells. Make new friends. A second later this guy comes around the corner looking for her.]

[She sniffs for a second longer then romps toward her owner. Foggy grabs her collar and reattaches her leash.]
Sorry about that! Hope she wasn't being rude. SOMEONE decided to make a run for it right out of the elevator.
[ very good thing that titan is trained, indeed. the larger dog keeps his judging eyes over the pup, with a leisurely wagging tail flagged behind him. whoa there eren says with a chuckle as he closes the door behind him, trying to guide the puppy away with his foot, but ever so gently in doing so.
it turns into playing footsie anyway. puppies are great. it makes him remember how much of a rascal titan was way back when . . .
and thereās the owner. with titan obediantly at his heels, eren makes a friendly approach. ]
Theyāre gonna do that. [ pups are gonna pup . . . although, odd, eren doesnāt remember seeing this man around before. maybe he really did miss it, but just to make sureā ] New here?
She is. First time I'm bringing her over for a visit. First elevator ride. [He pats her head. Maybe the elevator was why she made a run for it. You can't warn a puppy that you're about to go into a moving room.] -I don't live here myself. I'm here to see a friend. [He points back over his shoulder in the direction of Matt's apartment.]

[ . . . huh. thatās where mattās apartment is. he considers it for a moment, before thinking it could be another neighbor in the same direction. these apartments are pretty big, after all.

Ah nice! This troublemaker by my side is like half German Shepherd. She likes to act more like her Golden ancestors at the rate she's going.
[Foggy's smile grows as a realization hits him.] Eren Jaeger? I've heard about you- all good things- from Matt. [He points again over his shoulder then shakes Eren's hand.] I'm Foggy. Foggy Nelson. Matt and I are friends. Old Summer Performing Arts Camp buddies way back when.
[ you know, this guy is really, really friendly in a charismatic way? it canāt help eren from smiling a little, about to say something about titan when heās caught by surprise.

I didn't get a chance to walk her today but I had plans to meet up with Matt so he said to bring her along and SOMEONE got a little too excited to explore new places and meet new people.
That's the plan! Walk the dog and then I'm going to narrate Mean Girls for him. [He stops short of mentioning any food consumption since dinner and a movie sounds a little too much like a date for what he knows Matt is comfortable with. Matt talks about Eren like he's family but Foggy has no idea what Eren has been told.]
