you do things you donāt want to doā you do terrible things, like the children and families in that building that eren bursted out of. like the crowd he threw himself on, all in acceptance to a war he had to be apart of. this was something he was still thinking about, and to have it come from elliotās mouth so soon gets him off guard. he tries to pick back up, but fails to mask the honesty his feelings carry.

[ he clears his throat, lightens up some of the creases on his face. itās too soon to talk about this now, though. heāll have to think it out more. in the mean time, he picks around for a memory, but wonders if he should get them outside for some air. ]
[ It's easy to notice that Elliot's words had an effect on Eren. He hadn't really expected this sort of reaction. Some, maybe, but there was something...different about how Eren's acting at that idea. It wasn't a man who was eager to fulfill his duty, but closer to someone who...almost dreaded it.
It was unusual, he wasn't used to that reaction from Eren. He almost wants to ask, but...he holds back. Eren doesn't seem ready to talk about it just yet. It's better to give him time to think. ]

[He'll look at the key. Sure it could be a bike key, but there's something off about it. Why would Eren be showing that off to him? Why didn't he drive his bike close to the house.
[ did heā? what??? come on, heās not going to spoil it too easily, the keys were supposed to be hints! or not, i mean, he could just be gesturing that he wants to take him out on another bike ride around the block.
after a minute, he snagged the keys back and slips a finger through the key ring. ]
We should get that fresh air just to be sure.
[ smirk. a good distraction. this was a good distraction. ]
[ they can just organize things more or less, cover the pot and leave tablewhere on their proper plates. eren will help out wherever itās needed here before he gets up and gives elliotās hand to help him stand. keeping his body closely snug to his during the first few steps out of his room, eren presses a kiss to his head. heās grateful, for all of this so far.

out the door, eren will lead them out and down a few blocks, some cars parked, of all shapes and colors. thereāre a few motorcycles out there, but itās hard to tell if itās really erenās from so far away. ]
[Elliot appreciates the help, and sure enough in no time they managed to clean up together. When they walk out together and Eren kisses his head, he'll smile up at him and take his hand, walking with him to where Eren leads them.
