Skillrex is dubstep, but you're close! [POINTS FOR EFFORT BAE]
Oh yeah, I remember that now They might be like us, but its clear they know a lot more And they've chosen to side with Retrospec completely. So I'm still a little wary of them
But I agree. I hope its the former too. I'll let you know if we find anything.
thereās something thats bugging me maybe itās too soon to say anything but iām not finding any connections to these things that weāre helping with
back in august, the things groups had to work with were actually related to retrospec, what was going on or these memories. basically what we know about them now. right now it just feels like weāre fixing isolated problems. or playing the mmorpgs we used to. i want to be wrong, i hope i am
This whole thing, it's been reminding me of the field studies my other self would be sent on. We'd get sent to these towns and did tasks to help the locals. But we weren't given much supervision while doing it. The teacher told us: "Put your heads together and think, and I'm sure you'll see what you need to do." So we'd end up doing things not on the task list, like investigating a corrupt duke. As well as get better insight on the situation of these towns, which I think paid off when something went really wrong in that world.
I can't help but think that Retrospec's trying to give us that same kinda insight. I don't know about the other two groups, but both of ours are trying to help against some spreading darkness or corruption right? What if...that's linked somehow to whatever destroyed our original worlds in the first place?
you know, i only figured that was the thing for our partner links, thatās what zee told me but i didnāt think about the rest thereās something spirit related to our group..... it reminded me of that train we fought in the tunnels not that this is all a good thing but
To be fair, the links were what made me start to think of it. There was something similar to that too in that world. Though not as invasive, thank goodness. But hmmm ... I wonder if the train is connected somehow. Some of the monsters here have been corrupted by some dark energy. But I only pick up on it with that info spell. Too bad I can't use it long distance.
if you want me to list off everything that did i will
[ why not bombard you with the sacred list ]
maybe you should try it on the suspecting things you see where you are. if you havenāt already. iāll tell you whatever we find about the wolves, too. what kind of links were they?
I've done it on a few things, but I'll keep doing it. And I'll definitely tell you what I find.
They were called Combat Links. It's hard to put into words, but it's like being aware of everything your link partner is doing and what they intend to do too. Even if you're far apart on a chaotic battlefield. The other me was being trained to fight while using them, I know that much.
Eheh, good point. If I ever figure it out, I'll let you know.
Yeah, it seemed really useful! Though it probably takes a great deal getting used to. Apparently my friends and I would practice outside of class to get a handle on it.

[ ITāS THE SAME. ALMOST . . . ]
we need to stay wary. even if they couldāve been in our situation in the past theyāre still keeping us in a candle lit room.
but we will too
so far weāve only got mission related things, nothing about retrospec

That part worries me for sure.
Same for us, besides the phone.
We've just been busy helping the dryads.

whoa
so you can just.... choose who you want to link with while fighting?
no subject
I remember being able to link with a couple friends in class.
But I don't think I can do it in this world.
Or at least, I haven't figured out how yet.

keep your eyes open for something new, youāre always getting spells
your magic always is but thatās really cool

Actually, I got a class photo from Retrospec.
Back in December.

thatās nice you know, my past time didnāt have pictures
does it have that nostalgic feeling?
no subject
I didn't show it before because I was kinda embarrassed...

Hold on, I have a copy of it in my phone.
[A moment later he'll send this photo that looks like a phone photo taken of an actual physical old photo.
Minus the copyright stuff of course]no subject
